The Eltisley Feast Week programme of events has been published.

  • 11th July 2015, 7:30 pm: Summer Musical Soiree

    Sing Papworth and friends present a Summer Musical Soiree on Saturday 11th July in the Church at 7:30pm. Tickets, £10 available from Anne (Tel 880672), include drink on arrival and post event hot finger food. Music from the West End, Local Orchestra, Cash bar, Pop Classics and may more delights in store.

  • 12th July 2015, 4:00 pm: Family Pet Service

    Bring your pets of all sizes along to this special Feast Week service which will take place outside the church (weather permitting). You never quite know what's going to happen an an Eltisley family service and when pets are invited it's even more unpredictable!

  • 13th July 2015, 6:00 pm: Eltisley vs Hardwick T20

  • 13th July 2015, 7:00 pm: Pub Games Night & History Society Archive

    Just what a visit to the pub used to be like with skittles, pool, darts, dominoes and much more. Fabulous prizes for top scores. The Eltisley Archive will be open and there will be a prize for the most unusual Eltisley-related photo or object brought along to be copied or photographed!

  • 14th July 2015, 7:00 pm: Bingo Night

    Tuesday is the night for fun, it's BINGO night for everyone! The first number will be called at 7:30pm and we want as many people there as possible. Raffle to be held, £1 entry plus 50p a game (or £5 for book of 10 games).

  • 15th July 2015, 6:00 pm: Eltisley vs Pilanderers T20

  • 15th July 2015, 6:00 pm: Games & Silent Auction

    Leave the dishes and bring the family for a delicious dessert in the Cade marquee. Have fun playing Giant Jenga and Giant Connect 4 and join in the bidding for a Children's party, Curry Voucher, Champagne and more! Children's table and picture quiz.

  • 16th July 2015, 7:30 pm: Quiz Night

    Come and test your general knowledge with an item-village quiz designed for all ages. Bring your neighbours and friends for a fun night of questions and trivia. Maximum 6 people per team, cash prizes for the brightest sparks! Entry £3 per person.

  • 17th July 2015, 1:00 pm: Eltisley vs Chairman's XI

  • 17th July 2015, 7:00 pm: England Night

    In an Ashes year we celebrate the country that invented cricket - ENGLAND. A night of traditional fayre, fun and fancy dress. Fancy Dress Theme - What England means to you! - Famous Icons, History, County Colours, Humour, Eccentricity - Anything Goes. This Feast Week Friday is not to be missed. Pie & Mash £4, Sausages (for Kids) £2.50.

  • 18th July 2015, 2:00 pm: Church Fete & Produce Show

    With Heidi Allen, our new South Cambridgeshire MP opening the Fete at 2:00pm, there will be all th usual fun of the fair to look forward to - cake and produce stall, games, bouncy castle, cream teas, BBQ and bottle stall as well as the inaugural Eltisley Produce Show, a Cheerleading Display by the Stardust Dance Academy, and a Companion Dog Show organised by the Cambridgeshire Sundog Club. There'll be lots going on with something for everyone. Grand Raffle to be drawn at 4:30pm.

  • 18th July 2015, 7:30 pm: Barn Dance

    Live music all evening, hog roast with all the trimmings plus desserts. Silent Auction with some fabulous pledges. Tickets: Adults £12.50, Children under 12 £5. Family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) £30. Tel Anne & John 01480 880672.

  • 19th July 2015, 10:30 am: Thanksgiving Service & Baptism

    All welcome at this special church service.

  • 19th July 2015, 4:00 pm: Teddy Bears Picnic & Treasure Hunt

    Bring a packed lunch and your favourite teddy bear down to Pocket Park for a picnic and a (chocolate) treasure hunt in the woods. Children and adults of all ages welcome, come along anytime from 4pm onwards weather permitting!

Cricket matches being played every night of Feast Week (weather permitting). Thursday will be a particular highlight when the Old Parmiterians (James Cade’s old school team) make their annual trip to Eltisley. Cade open.
