Good Day

The challenging financial issues for the County Council, have been well publicised.

However, this does not make the actual changes easy, or sometimes at first they may seem totally un-acceptable...

I have learnt that there are many different ways to tackle a certain problem.

Changes will happen to bus services, for example, hopefully here is a link, which will lead you to the current changes for Stagecoach.

At the time of writing this article, there is a consultation taking place for more possible changes.

The budget for the County Council has been voted, on, and some services as we know them, will disappear.

However, I would hope that this will not mean that residents will start to feel as though they cannot get to their destination as they do now.

It will just be via a different means of transport maybe?

The County Council is putting more finances into community transport schemes.

If a change in bus service does happen, please do get in touch with me, and I can explore what community transport schemes there are in you area.

I am aware that no change is welcome, however equally, we have had comments about the amount of users on certain routes for example, we do ask for feed back, and we have to take every ones views into account.
